In the past I would teach you how to come up with content ideas for blog posts and videos by looking through your notes. I’ve taught you to take notes at live events, webinars, trainings or when reading books with the intention of teaching what you are learning.
When you want to attract a certain target market, what is the best way to attract someone to you?
You need to figure out what problems and questions they have and create content around it.
Here is my outside-the-box way of coming up with what your target market wants…
My target market is typically internet marketers. Your target market may be network marketers, home business or health and wellness.
Forums are a great way to laser target that market and know exactly what they want.
Go to Google right now. Type in your target market and put the word ‘forum’ at the end.
For example: internet marketing forum
Open up a forum and you will notice certain topics and areas where people are asking questions. You should also be able to see how many views each topic has.
This morning I was browsing through an internet marketing forum and one of the questions was, “How do I build a list with little or no money?” That question had the most views out of any topic today. Now I know that internet marketers are really interested in learning how to build a list with little or no money.
Isn’t that interesting?
You can literally go into a forum and see the questions that people are asking. You can even see how popular that question and topic is! Then, you can create content answering those questions and solving those problems.
Forums are a laser targeted way to figure out what your target market wants, needs, and what their problems are.
Forums provide ideas for the best topics that people are interested in because you can see how many times a topic was viewed, how many people liked it and commented on it.
If you got an epiphany from this strategy, go ahead and comment below and let me know. Share some of your ideas for coming up with content!

P.S. Now that you have content, how are you converting your targeted prospects into customers?
